Girls' Club

My daughter, Ima, attends the Girls' Club (6-12 y.o.) once a month for an informal spiritual formation and an activity to help them find their talents (different per month).

She so looks forward to this every month and crosses her finger that no family affair is scheduled on the same day of the Girls' Club meeting (9-11am on a Saturday).

For the August 16, 2008 meeting, they had "Jazz up your bag"... which involved painting a cloth bag that Tita Malou Calapardo stitched for them. They enjoyed the activities with other big sisters (Tita Angie, T. Grace, T. Nora, T. Cel, T. Precy, T. Len and T. Malou).

On the picture above, the girls are showing off the bags they worked on - mostly with their own name painted on. Ima could only identify Alex and Pat (standing left and center), then kneeling (left to right) are Dani, Ima, Bianca, Em-em. Her apologies as she cannot remember the names of both girls on the rightmost
