Just realized, after three years of almost monthly meeting with these wonderful scientists that these three pictures are all I have of the group (the UPLB Committee on Natural Products Research and Development Extension under the OVCRE).The above picture was during the preparation for the group's activity: "Functional Foods: Balik-tuklas sa mga pagkaing pangkalusugan" which was held 2 March 2007, 8:30 am at the New CAS Annex Bldg, UPLB.
It is great being a part of this diverse group. I have learned so many things but realized also that there is so much more to learn.
From different backgrounds but united in the research on indigenous natural products.
Here in the picture are Drs. Tans de Guzman (CSC), Eupy Marfori (BIOTECH), Evelyn Rodriquez (IC), Tony Laurena (IPB), Heidi Hernandez (IC) and Lou Cardenas (IBS).
We missed Drs Dee Maligalig (IBS) and Amie Estacio (CVM).
